You choose the trip length and comfort level — we handle the rest.
The three questions that determine your price are simple. When are you travelling? Park fees double in high season (July–December), and lodge rates rise during the migration months. Shared or private? Group joining safaris share vehicle costs between travellers and are the cheapest option; private safaris give you your own vehicle, guide and flexible timings. Road or air? Driving takes 5–6 hours each way; flying takes under an hour and adds roughly $250–$450 return per person.
Because every itinerary is built around the same core costs — vehicle, guide, park entry fees, accommodation and meals — the quickest way to move your price up or down is to change the season, the level of comfort or the number of nights rather than the destinations themselves. Travelling between January and June saves roughly $100 per person for every day you spend inside the reserve, because the park fee drops from $200 to $100 per adult per day, while upgrading from a shared group joining departure to a private vehicle buys flexibility and privacy rather than extra distance. These are low-season starting prices, and the single biggest reason they rise between July and December is the Maasai Mara park fee, which doubles from $100 to $200 per adult per day in high season; children under 18 sharing with two paying adults usually qualify for a reduced concession rate at the camps we use.
