Who We Are

Masai Mara Safari Packages is a Kenya-based safari service that does one thing: trips to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Not forty destinations across seven countries — one reserve, its conservancies, the camps at the Talek and Sekenani gates, and the roads and airstrips that get you there. That focus is the whole point of this site.

What We Believe

• Itemised, transparent quotes. Every quote we send breaks down what you're paying for — transport, accommodation (named — the exact camp, not "a similar property"), park fees, meals — so you can compare it line by line against anyone else's. No hidden fees, no surprises at the gate.
• Honest advice, even when it costs us. If a 3-day group joining safari suits you better than the 5-day private trip you asked about, we'll say so — even though it's the cheaper option. If travelling in the January–June low season saves you hundreds in park fees and suits your goals, we'll tell you.
• Realistic pricing warnings. Park fees alone are $100 per adult per day from January to June and $200 from July to December. Any quote that seems impossibly cheap is almost always excluding park fees, meals or transport — we'd rather explain that than win a booking on a number that falls apart later.

How Booking Works

Four steps, no drama:

1. Send your dates via WhatsApp or the form below, with your group size and rough budget.
2. Receive an itemised quote naming the exact camp you'd stay in, so you can look it up yourself before committing.
3. Confirm with a deposit once you're happy with the itinerary and the numbers.
4. Travel with full support — you have us on WhatsApp throughout the trip, from Nairobi pick-up to drop-off.

Why Only One Destination?

Depth over breadth. We only sell trips we know first-hand: which budget camps at Talek actually have reliable hot water, when the Nairobi road is at its worst, whether a flying safari is worth the premium for your dates, where the crossings tend to happen during the July–October migration. A site that sells everywhere can't honestly claim that; a site that sells one reserve can.

Compliance

We work with licensed, insured local operators and established camps. Vehicles, guides and accommodation on every itinerary come from partners operating legally within Kenya's tourism framework — and your itemised quote tells you exactly who and where.
